MS/IT Capstone Experience

( 4 or 8 credits )

The purpose of the capstone for the masters in Information Technology is to allow students to demonstrate their creativity and professional capabilities in one or more of the concentration areas studied. The MS project involves background research and some type of implemented computing solution that addresses an IT need, issue or problem. The MS thesis involves more in depth research of a topic, analysis of results and, typically, some solution development. An optional two-credit capstone preparation course is available to help students write their capstone proposals. See the MS/IT Capstone Guide document for more information.
