Academic Experience

Teaching Faculty, Department of Information Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology (September 2000 - current).

Teach courses in multimedia design and implementation; participate in self-governance and collaborative activities of the faculty and department including Multimedia Interest Group, Friday Graduate Club, and Introduction to Multimedia Planning Group; nominated for Eisenhart Outstanding Teaching Award in Fall 2000.

Electronic Librarian, The Pennsylvania State University (August 1992-August 2000)

Designed and developed electronic library resources including the Laptop Library, Library Web anonymous ftp, and gopher, and Brainfood multimedia modules.

Taught courses and seminars in Internet access, searching, Doing Business on the Internet, reference soruces; provided leadership and expertise for electronic funds and collections; served as founding faculty of the Webmaster Certificate Course; supervised operations and staff of branch library including budget, supplies, equipment and services. Awarded University Libraries Award in 1999.
